DIY Faux Wood Floor {TUTURIAL}

Happy happy Friday!!

I finally have the full tutorial for the paper "wood plank" floors I showed you (and showed you and showed you if you follow me on Facebook). What can I say. It's worth repeating myself over...see...

I was asked by my besties (ok, so,  maybe they wouldn't classify me that way) over at Remodelaholic if I would be their guest and share my tute' over on their blog (because let's face it, they know WAY more people than I do!) and get the word out on how awesome these floors are! And because I want everyone to know, I said ABSOLUTELY!

So come on! Let's go! Head on over and learn how to create your own Faux Wood Paper Floor. Be sure to ask lot's of questions and then come back and follow me on Facebook or better yet, sign up (right over there)
to have emails sent directly to you every time I do something crazy!

  4. How wonderful! Just from the looks of it on the picture, I wouldn't know that that was faux wood. I think faux wood floors are truly great because not only are you putting in classy elegance for less the cost, versus real wood panels of course. You're also helping mother nature keep some trees. Thank you so much for sharing the tutorial! More power to you!

  14. I would love to try this in our basement finishing. I think it would cover the smooth cement floors very nicely. I can't believe this is paper. My only question is (I'm trying to convince my husband), do you think it would hold up to dog nails? My dog goes a little crazy at time and runs around. Currently her nails scrape on the concrete pretty good while she's sliding around. I'd be afraid of her scratching it. From experience, what do you think?

  15. This is so beautiful and impressive! Couple questions- how is the surface for your dog? I have 4 and they have varying issues with arthritis, knees, tripawed etc and I don't want them to be miserable sliding around. Also- what kind/brand/where did you by the "nails?" Did you put them in before or after the sealant? Thanks!
